THE MUSIC PROGRAM at St. George's provides training for volunteer choirs and they in turn share gifts and talents in worship. The choir leads the congregation in music at every 10:30 a.m. Sunday service and at other services as required, including special occasions and Holy Days. They meet regularly each Thursday night during the year.

Pianist David Clemensen holds degrees from Chapman University and California State University, Fullerton. He holds the Doctor of Musical Arts in Keyboard Collaborative Arts from the University of Southern California, where his teachers included Gwendolyn Koldofsky, Alan Smith, and Kevin Fitz-Gerald. He has taught at Biola University, Orange Coast College, and Vanguard University, and teaches privately in Irvine. From 1987 Dr.Clemensen served Irvine Presbyterian Church, first as pianist and later as Music director, stepping down in 2002 to devote himself to performing and teaching. This will be his fifth season as the rehearsal pianist for Pacific Chorale. |
St. George's Sunday Choir: This volunteer parish choral group provides the choral music for all major St. George's services. The Choir sings a wide variety of music that will stretch most of our musical tastes, yet remain generally compatible with the Anglican tradition.
St. George's Multi-Generational Handbell Choir

St. George's Multi-Generational Handbell Choir provides an opportunity for Parish youth and adults to learn to play musical rhythms in an atmosphere of caring support.The group rehearses once each week and performs at selected services and events.
