ADULT CONFIRMATION & RECEPTION

For those who are new to the Episcopal Church or who may have been previously confirmed in another Christian denomination, Adult Reception is a welcome into the communion and fellowship of the Episcopal Church.

Candidates express a mature commitment to Christ and receive strength from the Holy Spirit through prayer and the laying on of hands by a bishop.  Adult Reception and Confirmation are offered annually.

Please contact the church office for the schedule of the bishop's visitation: (949) 837-4530.

Adults interested in Confirmation and Reception can take instruction with the priest.  Want to learn more?  Please contact the Rev. Canon Pat McCaughan.

WEDDINGS

It is a gift to celebrate marriage between two individuals who have found each other and desire to make a public commitment to sharing their lives together in love.  If you feel called to hold your wedding ceremony at St. George's, we invite you to come and worship with us and get to know us and our physical space so you feel comfortable with St. George's and excited about hosting the start of your married life here.

For more information, please contact the church office at: (949) 837-4530.

MEMORIAL SERVICES, INTERMENT

At. St. George's, we believe it is a joy and privilege to celebrate a person who has gone on to new and eternal life.  We seek to find joy in the life that was lived and take hope in God's promise to us of everlasting life.  For info please call the church office, at (949) 837-4530.

About our Columbarium: Enter, Rest, Reflect - Designed by the nationally recognized architectural firm of Hyndman and Hyndman, the Columbarium links the mission style church of 1989 with the parish hall complex opened in 2001.  Spacious arches open onto flowerbeds and lawns that overlook Avenida de la Carlota, inviting the community or enter, rest and reflect upon their lives.

Inviting memorial benches and a labyrinth, based on the medieval design on the stone floor of Chartres Cathedral in France, are located in the Robert Bonhall Plaza.  The labyrinth provides a focus and pathway for a meditative walk into its center.  The area is reserved (like the church sanctuary) during the week and between Sunday services for quite, meditation and prayer.  For more info about our columbarium, please contact the church office at: (949) 837-4530.
